Mandatory Student Assessments and Diagnostics
All virtual learners are required to be brought to the home school building for participation in the following mandatory testing sessions each year. See chart below.
In addition to the mandatory assessments below, parents should also be prepared to bring students for proctored testing for national assessments, such as ACT and SAT, as well as testing for Gifted and Special Education services.
Students failing to participate in any mandatory assessment will be placed on academic probation and be at-risk for removal from the Virtual Program. Please see the Virtual Program Probationary Status section for more information.

2Some Kindergarten students may be required to come in-person for some components of the state Georgia Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills assessment.
3Students are required to fully participate in at least two of the three i-Ready diagnostic administrations.
