Community Summer Camps

The Averitt Center for the Arts has a multitude of camps throughout the summer for children and youth of all ages. Check out their offerings and register online

Summer program for children who are currently in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Call 912.764.9696 or visit the club to register. Registration fees apply. The camp is May 31 through July 21, 7:30 am. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast & lunch are provided.

The Statesboro Family YMCA hosts traditional day camps, a leaders in training program, and other specialty camps.

Georgia Southern University's College of Engineering has three amazing camps available for middle and high school students. They focus on robotics, 3-D printing, machine vision, and computer numerical control (CNC) machining

The Willow Hill Renaissance & Heritage Center will host its third annual Techie Camp for rising 3rd to 8th grade students. The camp is free and no prior technology experience is necessary. Four, full-day sessions available in June.

The Georgia Southern Shooting Sports Education Center has a variety of shooting sports day camps and residential camps for children and youth throughout the summer.

William James Middle School's Baseball program will host a summer camp June 6-8, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, at Mill Creek Regional Park in Statesboro. The camp is open to students ages 10 to 12. The camp will focus on fundamental & position skills.  Bring water, baseball pants, glove and other equipment if you have it.

The Georgia Southern University Baseball Team will host two Youth Baseball Camps for children ages 6 to 12. The four-day camps are June 12-15 and July 10-13.

Portal Middle High School will host a SE-Elite High School Basketball Skills Camp for rising 9th to 12th grade girls and boys basketball players on June 30 and July 1, from 9:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the Portal gymnasium. Lunch & snacks provided. The camp will be led by Anthony Torrence and Vic Alexander.

Statesboro High School's Girls Basketball program will host a youth basketball camp for rising first through sixth-grade girls on June 8 & 9, in the Statesboro High Gym. Features contests, games, skills building, confidence building, guest speakers & more. 

Southeast Bulloch High School will host a youth basketball camp on June 19 - 21, for boys and girls who are rising 4th through 8th grade students. The camp is from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., each day in the school's gym. Campers receive a t-shirt.

Georgia Southern University Men's Basketball Head Coach Charlie Henry and his players will host a basketball skills camp for boys ages 4 to 6 on June 26 -29, 9 a.m. - 12 noon, at Hanner Fieldhouse.

Statesboro High School's cheerleading squad will host its annual Little Blue Devil Cheer Camp June 12 -14, 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., in the school's gym. Open to girls 4 years old (by June 1) through rising 8th graders. Register by May 26.

Southeast Bulloch High School will host its Jr. Jacket Cheer Camp on Saturday, June 17, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., in the school's gym. Open to rising Kindergarten to 8th grade children. Learn stunts, cheers, dances & jumps. Lunch, snacks & a camp t-shirt provided. Register by June 13. Parent showcase at 2:15 p.m.

Southeast Bulloch High School's Football team & coaches will host their annual Jr. Jacket Football Camp on July 18-20, from 8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m., at Fred Shaver Field, for rising Kindergarten to 5th grade students. Check in starts at 8 a.m. the first day. Bring water or a sports drink and cleats or tennis shoes.

The Southeast Bulloch High School Softball team and coaches will host their annual camp July 17 -18, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for rising Kindergarten to 7th grade girls ages 5 to 13. The cost is $60. Register by June 23. Contact Aimee Civalier at 912.682.9385 or Sabrina Civalier at 912.842.8448.

The Statesboro High School Blue Devil Step Team will host a Step Summer Camp for rising 7th to 12th grade students, on June 26 - 30, At Statesboro High School. Register by June 5, to guarantee a t-shirt. Performance for parents on June 30.

Southeast Bulloch High School's Tennis coach and players will host a skills camp for rising 4th to 8th grade youth on July 10-13 & 14th if needed due to rain delays. Players will learn the fundamental skills of how to play tennis.

The Statesboro High Blue Devil Volleyball will host a summer camp on July 10-13, at the school. There are three sessions by age group and skill level. Session1: 2nd-6th grade, 8:30 a.m. - 10:30; Session 2: 7th - rising 12th grade beginners, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.; and Session 3: Elite Camp for 7th-rising 12th grade experienced players.

Georgia Southern University Athletics will host five Chad Willis Volleyball Camps for ages 5- 12 and rising 6th to 12th graders this summer. Check the link for specific dates, times, and camps by age.

Statesboro High School is hosting a Kids Summer Wrestling Camp for boys and girls ages 5 to rising eighth grade students on June 12 -15, from 9 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the school's junior varsity gym.
