Step-by-Step Request Process

Note: This process was temporarily changed due to the Novel Coronavirus and social distancing requirements for public health.

Step 1: Carefully review the Bulloch County Board of Education's policy, JBCCA Student Assignment to Schools.  A copy may also be obtained at the Bulloch County Schools Central Office at 150 Williams Road, Statesboro, by emailing the Board Secretary, Mary Henley or by calling 912.212.8500.

Step 2: Complete a School Choice Privilege Transfer Form via an electronic survey. The link to the survey will be made available by 7:30 a.m., on Monday, May 4, 2020. Parents who do not have internet access, or otherwise need assistance with completion of the School Choice Privilege request form should call 912-212-8554 prior to 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

Step 3: Complete and submit the School Choice Privilege Transfer Form by electronic survey by 4 p.m., on Friday, May 22, 2020.

Step 4: You will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of your application via e-mail, if you have an e-mail address on file. If you do not have an e-mail address on file, you will be notified via U.S. mail. Please allow up to three weeks for processing and mail delivery.

Please contact Bulloch County Schools if you do not receive your decision letter by Monday, June 15.
