4H Clovers & Co. to perform benefit concert Jan. 27, 7 pm, at Statesboro High

Clovers and Company Concert FlyerThe Bulloch County 4H and the Bulloch County Foundation for Public Education, along with the University of Georgia College of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences proudly present Clovers & Co. in concert on Saturday, January 27, at 7 p.m., in the Statesboro High School Auditorium. The event is open to the public and is a benefit event for the Foundation.

 

Opening acts are the Southeast Bulloch High School Advanced Chorus and Chyann Rose, a local performing artist, who is a senior at SEBHS, and a member of Clovers & Co. If you like live, acoustic music and phenomenal talent don’t miss this show.

 

Tickets are $10 in advance for adults, students are $5, and children under 5 are free. Tickets are available for advance purchase and pick up at the Bulloch County 4H Office, Brooklet United Methodist Church, and the Bulloch County Board of Education.  Tickets can also be purchased by phone using a major credit card by calling the Bulloch Co. 4H office at 912.871.6130.

 

Clovers & Co. is Georgia’s premier youth musical ensemble and is composed of talented singers, dancers, musicians and stagehands ranging in age from 12 to 18. Their auditions through the GA 4H performing arts program and proven talent have landed them a coveted spot in the 55-member traveling cast. Clovers & Co.’s superior talent will leave you amazed that these are only middle and high school students. For this reason, it’s not surprising that alumni of the cast have gone on to be celebrated stars in the music and entertainment industry. Stars like Hillary Lindsey, an acclaimed, multi-award-winning songwriter, whose written numerous number one hits for today’s top acts like Lady Gaga (Million Reasons), Carrie Underwood (Jesus Take the Wheel and six other of her #1 hits), Lady Antebellum (American Honey), and Sara Evans (A Little Bit Stronger), and Sugarland’s lead singer, Jennifer Nettles.

 

All proceeds from the event benefit the Bulloch County Foundation for Public Education and its innovation grant program which funds teachers' ideas - Ideas that enhance the learning experiences for local students. The event is also a great opportunity for local and area 4H students to learn how they can audition and possibly become part of this touring company.
