Georgia Southern University’s Art Extravaganza spotlights the artwork of exceptional PK-12 art students in the region, many of whom are taught by GSU alumni. The exhibit is on display in the College of Education’s second floor hallway gallery. Each fall, a new exhibit opens during GSU's Homecoming Weekend, and the artwork remains on display for one year. Southern’s Art Extravaganza is sponsored by the College of Education’s Alumni Advisory Committee. "We are looking forward to the exhibit, as always, and we are so thankful that GSU is continuing this program," said Portal's Pre-K - 12 Art Teacher Deena Scarborough.
