Turkey Trot 5K

The Statesboro Turkey Trot 5K is a major fundraising event for the Bulloch County Foundation for Public Education. Events like this coupled with year-round giving opportunities raise funds for innovative grant projects for Bulloch County students and teachers. The event is held annually in downtown Statesboro the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Event Registration

 

Event Registration Fees

  • $25 Until November4th (guaranteed T-shirt)
  • $30 from November 5th Until Race Day
  • $20 for All Students with Current Student ID (Must show Student ID when picking up race packet)
  • $10 for 12 & under Fun Run
  • $20 per runner for teams of five or more 

Event Packet Pick Ups

  • Early Bird Pick up: Friday, November 18, 2016 at SWIM BIKE RUN 607 Brannen St. Ste 1, Statesboro, GA from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM
  • Race Day Pick up: Saturday, November 19, 2016 at race event

Event Schedule 

  • 8:00 AM-Registration and Race Packet Pick-up
  • 8:45 AM- Mascot Race Hosted by Downtown Statesboro Development Authority
  • 9:00 AM 12 & Under Fun Run
  • 9:30 AM 5K Turkey Trot Begins
  • Awards following end of race

Event Awards

 Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female winners in the Turkey Trot Run in fourteen age groups from age 12 and under, to 70+.  T-shirts are guaranteed to all runners registered before November 8, 2016, and available to all other registered participants while supplies last. Results will be posted on wwww.coolrunning.com and www.runninintheusa.com.
